Mikrofonikapseli Sennheiser MMD 935-1 BK — dynaaminen, herttakuvio, varakapseli

The Sennheiser MMD 935-1 BK is a dynamic, cardioid microphone capsule intended as a replacement capsule for compatible handheld microphones. It is designed to deliver focused pickup of vocals and speech while reducing off-axis noise and minimizing feedback. The capsule suits live vocal performance, speech reinforcement and stage use where directional control and rugged dynamic performance are required.

Advantages

The capsule uses a cardioid polar pattern to prioritize sound from the front while attenuating ambient and side sounds, improving vocal clarity in live and noisy environments. As a dynamic element, the MMD 935-1 BK does not require phantom power and offers robust construction for repeated handling and stage use. It is supplied as a replacement capsule to restore or upgrade the directional performance of compatible handheld microphones.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The MMD 935-1 BK is a dynamic cardioid capsule and therefore may not capture the same level of detail or extended frequency response as condenser capsules for studio recording. It is not intended for use with microphones or systems that require specific capsule models incompatible with this replacement part.

How to use

Install the MMD 935-1 BK by removing the existing capsule from the compatible handheld microphone following the microphone manufacturer's instructions and replace it with this capsule. After installation, verify correct mechanical fit and secure attachment; then test the capsule with the intended sound system to confirm correct polar response and level. No phantom power is required for the dynamic capsule itself, though the host microphone and sound system should be configured according to their own specifications.

Recommendations

For best results with the Sennheiser MMD 935-1 BK, position the microphone slightly off-axis from loud monitors to reduce feedback, maintain a consistent distance from the mouth for stable levels, and perform a soundcheck to adjust gain and EQ to the room. Use as a direct replacement only with confirmed compatible handheld microphone models.
