Mikrofonikapseli Sennheiser MMD 845-1 BK — dynaaminen superkardioidi-kapseli

Sennheiser MMD 845-1 BK is a dynamic supercardioid microphone capsule intended for use with compatible handheld microphone bodies. The capsule combines a focused pickup pattern with a dynamic transducer to capture vocal and instrument sources while reducing off-axis noise and stage feedback. Its construction is aimed at reliable performance in live, rehearsal and studio environments where directivity and robustness matter.

Advantages

The capsule offers supercardioid directionality that improves isolation of the main sound source and reduces bleed from monitors and nearby instruments. As a dynamic element, it handles high sound pressure levels without distortion and does not require external power. The unit is built for regular stage and touring use, providing consistent sonic character and mechanical durability when mounted in compatible handheld microphone bodies.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This dynamic supercardioid capsule is not designed for use with condenser-specific systems that require phantom power or for applications needing the extended high-frequency detail of high-end condenser capsules. It may also be less appropriate where an omnidirectional or wide cardioid response is required to capture room ambience or multiple sources simultaneously.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the MMD 845-1 BK capsule into a compatible handheld microphone body following the body manufacturer's instructions. Position the capsule so the performer or instrument is on-axis to maximize isolation and clarity. For live use, align the supercardioid axis toward the source and keep stage monitors outside the main pickup lobes to reduce feedback. No external power is required; adjust gain on the mixing console and apply EQ or compression as needed to suit the voice or instrument.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use close, on-axis placement for best isolation; position stage monitors off the capsule axis and set gain structure conservatively to avoid feedback. For instrumental applications, experiment with small changes in angle and distance to find the desired balance between attack and body.
