Lenovo 4Z57A10847 InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli 3 m 2x LC sininen

The Lenovo 4Z57A10847 is a 3-meter OM4 fibre optic cable with dual LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. Engineered for reduced attenuation and low insertion loss, this cable supports high bandwidth links and precise signal integrity across short to moderate distances. Its OM4 multimode grade is optimized for contemporary data center and enterprise applications where consistent throughput and minimal interference are required.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre provides higher modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling improved performance for 10GbE and higher-speed links over the supported distances. Dual LC connectors offer compact, standardized terminations that are widely compatible with modern networking equipment. The 3-meter length balances flexibility and signal quality for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and storage within racks and across adjacent racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10GbE, 40GbE and short-reach 100GbE links where OM4 multimode is supported
• Data center cabling, enterprise fiber backbones and distribution panels

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector type: LC to LC (dual connectors on both ends)
• Typical attenuation: low attenuation suitable for short to medium runs
• Cable jacket: flexible multimode fiber jacket designed for structured cabling

How to use

Ensure both ends of the Lenovo OM4 fibre optic cable are clean and free of dust before insertion. Align and insert the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on switches, transceivers or optical modules until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the vendor-recommended bend radius to preserve performance. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid stress on the fiber.

Recommendations

For best results, use this OM4 cable with compatible multimode transceivers and networking equipment. Regularly inspect and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools to prevent signal degradation. Avoid kinking the cable and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the target bitrate to maintain optimal link performance.
