Duplex Mini Zip Twin -kaapeli EFB Elektronik 2x1G OM2 1,8 mm I‑V (ZN)

EFB Elektronik Mini Zip Twin Duplex Cable - I-V (ZN) H 2x1G, OM2, 1.8mm is an indoor, non-metallic, halogen-free patch and adapter cable designed for tertiary cabling such as horizontal runs, working areas and fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD) installations. The twin duplex construction and 1.8 mm fiber diameter make it suitable for short-range multimode OM2 links and for use with field-installable connectors.

Advantages

The cable is designed for indoor use and offers a compact mini zip twin duplex form factor that simplifies routing in dense cable runs. Being non-metallic and halogen-free reduces fire hazard and smoke/toxic emission risks in enclosed spaces. Its compatibility with field-installable connectors allows flexible, on-site termination for patching and adapter connections.

Suitable for

• Horizontal/tertiary cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Working area connections and fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD)
• Patch panels, adapters and short-range OM2 multimode links

How to use

Route the mini zip twin duplex cable through the indoor cable pathways or raceways to the work area or patching location. Terminate each fiber using compatible field-installable multimode connectors following the connector manufacturer's instructions and standard fiber-optic polishing or crimping procedures where applicable. Connect the terminated duplex pairs to patch panels, adapters or transceivers as required for the OM2 multimode link.

Recommendations

Use this indoor, non-metallic OM2 mini zip twin duplex cable where short-range multimode performance is required and where halogen-free materials are preferred for safety. Avoid outdoor exposure and direct burial; protect from excessive bending, tensile strain and mechanical damage during installation. Verify connector compatibility for field termination and test links after installation to confirm attenuation and link performance.
