LevelOne 5-porttinen Gigabit PoE -kytkin, hallitsematon

The LevelOne GEP-0521 Unmanaged Switch is a 5-port Gigabit PoE switch that supplies data and power over Ethernet to connected devices. It provides 5 x 10/100/1000Base-T ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE-Plus support and a total PoE budget of 120W, delivering up to 30W per port. The switch supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and 9K jumbo frames to improve network efficiency and performance, and operates as an unmanaged device suitable for simple deployments.

Advantages

The switch simplifies installation by combining power and data on a single cable according to IEEE 802.3af/at standards and offers gigabit wire-speed transmission on all five ports. Energy Efficient Ethernet compliance reduces power consumption during low-link utilization. Support for 9K jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control helps maintain reliable and higher-throughput data transfers. The device includes auto-detection and protection for non-standard PoE devices.

Suitable for

• Small business networks requiring PoE for IP cameras, access points, or VoIP phones
• Quick plug-and-play PoE deployments without managed switch configuration
• Environments needing gigabit connectivity with occasional large-frame transfers

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface or mount it according to the manufacturer instructions. Connect Ethernet cables from network devices to the RJ-45 ports; PoE-capable devices will receive power automatically when connected. Ensure the aggregated PoE load does not exceed the total 120W budget. No management configuration is required for basic operation — the device functions as plug-and-play for data and PoE delivery.

Recommendations

To maintain reliable operation, distribute high-power PoE devices across ports so the total power draw stays within the 120W budget and verify device compatibility with IEEE 802.3af/at. For improved cooling and longevity, allow adequate ventilation around the unit and avoid obstructing airflow.
