Lindy 3m DisplayPort - HDMI 10.2G -kaapeli

The Lindy DisplayPort to HDMI Cable connects a DisplayPort-equipped source, such as a PC or laptop, to an HDMI display. It supports 4K UHD video up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and is suitable for extending or duplicating a desktop to add a secondary monitor in home or office environments.

Advantages

This cable transmits high-resolution video and supports both uncompressed 7.1-channel audio and compressed formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. It enables a simple single-cable connection from DisplayPort to HDMI for added workspace or mirrored displays. No additional adapters are required when the source device provides DisplayPort audio output.

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort (source) to HDMI (display)
• Maximum resolution: 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (4K UHD)
• Audio support: uncompressed 7.1 and compressed audio (DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD)
• Typical use: extend or duplicate desktop; connect PC/laptop to HDMI monitor or TV

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to the DisplayPort output on the PC or laptop and the HDMI end to the HDMI input on the monitor or TV. Select the appropriate input on the display and configure display settings on the computer to extend or duplicate the desktop. If audio over HDMI is required, ensure the computer's graphics hardware and drivers support audio over DisplayPort and select HDMI as the audio output device in the operating system.

Recommendations

For audio to work via HDMI, verify that your graphics card or laptop motherboard supports DisplayPort audio output and that the latest graphics drivers are installed. For 4K at 30 Hz performance, use compatible display hardware and proper HDMI input on the display.
