Lindy 45989 verkkokaapeli keltainen 30 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable supporting frequencies up to 250 MHz, designed for Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1GBase-T). This Lindy 45989 cable is 30 m long, fitted with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, and features a snagless strain relief and an LSZH (halogen-free) sheath. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is individually packaged in a polybag.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (braid overall shield plus foil-shielded individual pairs) provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help ensure corrosion-resistant, reliable connections over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal, reducing the risk of physical damage. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and eliminates halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public or confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1GBase-T)
• AV extension and signal distribution
• Office and data center horizontal cabling
• Environments requiring low smoke and halogen-free materials

How to use

Route the Lindy 45989 Cat6 cable between network devices, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and secure the cable path. For shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of cable shields at termination points according to local wiring standards.

Recommendations

Install and terminate the cable following ISO/IEC and local cabling guidelines. Keep the cable away from powerful electrical sources to minimize interference, and verify performance with appropriate network testing tools after installation.
