Lintueste aurinkosähköjärjestelmiin DELOCK 1 m — 2 kpl, ruskea, 193 mm

DELOCK Bird Deterrent Barrier for Photovoltaic Systems is supplied as two 1 m brown strips with a 193 mm profile designed to block access to module edges and mounting gaps. The product is intended to prevent pigeons and other birds from nesting under or between PV panels, reducing soiling, shading and potential damage to wiring and frames. Its discrete brown colour and low-profile design make it suitable for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations where visual integration and effective pest exclusion are required.

Advantages

The barrier provides a physical obstruction that reduces bird access without harming animals. Made for quick installation along panel edges and mounting rails, it helps lower maintenance needs by preventing droppings and nest debris accumulation. The brown finish offers visual compatibility with many rooftop materials and PV frames, while the 1 m length pieces allow flexible placement and easy handling during installation.

How to use

Position the deterrent barrier along the exposed edges of PV modules or along mounting rails where birds typically access gaps. Cut pieces to size if necessary and fix them according to the installation context using appropriate fasteners or adhesives compatible with the roof or racking material. Ensure the barrier creates a continuous obstruction without leaving gaps that birds can exploit. Verify stability after installation and inspect periodically to confirm there is no uplift or displacement due to wind or maintenance activity.

Recommendations

For best results, install barriers along the full length of vulnerable edges and combine with regular visual inspections. Avoid sealing methods that could damage panel frames or void warranties; use non-corrosive fasteners and roof-compatible adhesives. If unsure about attachment methods, consult the PV racking or roof manufacturer for approved fixing options.
