Knipex 97 91 04 V02 aurinkosähkö-MC4-liitintyökalujen työkalulaukku

The Knipex 97 91 04 V02 toolbox for Photovoltaic MC4 connectors is a compact kit-format case designed to organize and protect the tools and accessories commonly used when installing, inspecting and maintaining solar PV MC4 connections. The case presents a structured internal layout that keeps hand tools, spares and small parts accessible on site, supporting a systematic workflow for electricians and photovoltaic technicians working with MC4 connector systems.

Advantages

The toolbox offers a durable exterior and a practical interior arrangement to reduce time spent searching for parts and tools during installation or service. Its design supports mobility and on-site protection of tools, while the organized compartments help prevent damage and loss of delicate connector components. The kit format ensures necessary items for MC4 connector work are kept together, improving task continuity and operational efficiency.

Suitable for

• Installation of photovoltaic MC4 connectors on solar panels and arrays
• Routine inspection and maintenance of PV connector junctions
• On-site repair and replacement of MC4 connector components
• Electrical contractors and PV technicians performing field service

Key specifications

• Kit-format toolbox with internal compartments and holders for hand tools and small parts
• Compact and portable design suitable for field use
• Protective exterior construction to safeguard tools and components
• Organized storage layout to separate tools, spare contacts and seals
• Compatible with common hand tools used on photovoltaic MC4 connector systems

How to use

Open the toolbox and arrange required tools and spare parts in the designated compartments according to the task — for example, separate cutting, stripping and crimping tools from spare contacts and seals. Carry the toolbox to the worksite and use it as a mobile workstation; remove only the tools needed for a given operation to keep the case orderly. After finishing a job, clean any debris or residues from connectors and tools, inspect consumable parts for wear, return items to their allocated compartments and close the case for transport.

Recommendations

Store the toolbox in a dry, dust-free environment between uses and check seals, crimping tools and spare contacts periodically. Use the organized compartments to keep insulating boots, seals and spare contacts separate from cutting blades to avoid damage. Follow standard electrical safety procedures and manufacturer instructions when working with photovoltaic MC4 connectors.
