Magneettiventtiiliohjain Milesight UC511-DI-868M LoRaWAN 868 MHz — digitaalinen tulonohjaus

Milesight UC511-DI-868M is a LoRaWAN solenoid valve controller operating at 868 MHz with a digital input for remote control and status monitoring. The device is designed to actuate solenoid valves and report valve state over long-range LoRaWAN networks, enabling remote operation within industrial, agricultural and building automation systems. It integrates with LoRaWAN infrastructure to provide wireless actuation, simplified wiring and reduced need for physical access to field valves.

Advantages

The controller supports wireless actuation of solenoid valves via the LoRaWAN 868 MHz band, allowing control and monitoring across extended distances without continuous wired connections. Its digital input enables detection of external state changes or local switch status, providing real-time feedback to the network. Compact design and compatibility with LoRaWAN networks make deployment straightforward in distributed installations where running cable is costly or impractical.

Suitable for

• Remote control of irrigation and agricultural water valves
• Actuation of solenoid valves in building automation (e.g., HVAC, water distribution)
• Industrial processes requiring remote open/close control and status reporting
• Locations where long-range wireless control reduces maintenance visits

Key specifications

• Wireless protocol: LoRaWAN, 868 MHz band
• Control interface: Solenoid valve drive output
• Input: Digital input for external status or switch signals
• Typical use environment: Industrial, agricultural, commercial buildings

How to use

Install the UC511-DI-868M near the solenoid valve and connect the valve actuator to the controller’s drive output according to the valve manufacturer’s wiring instructions. Connect the external switch or sensor to the digital input to enable local status reporting. Enroll the device into a LoRaWAN network server and configure the device parameters and downlink commands to match the desired control logic and reporting intervals. Verify correct operation by issuing open/close commands from the network and observing status updates from the digital input.

Recommendations

Place the controller in a dry, ventilated location protected from direct exposure to water and extreme temperatures. Ensure antenna placement and gateway coverage provide reliable LoRaWAN connectivity. Confirm the solenoid valve’s power and current requirements are within the controller’s supported drive capabilities before connecting the actuator. Regularly monitor device status via the LoRaWAN network to detect connectivity or valve issues early.
