USB-A–USB-B-kaapeli GOOBAY 68712, USB 2.0 HiSpeed, 1,8 m, harmaa

GOOBAY 68712 is a USB A to USB B cable designed for reliable HiSpeed USB 2.0 data connections between host devices and peripherals. With a length of 1.8 m and a grey jacket, the cable features standard 4-wire USB 2.0 wiring and male-to-male connectors. It supports data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s and is intended for connecting equipment such as printers, scanners and other devices that use a USB B port to computers or hubs with USB A ports.

Advantages

The cable provides a standardized and widely compatible connection using USB 2.0 HiSpeed signaling, offering stable data transmission for peripherals. Its 1.8 m length balances reach and cable management, while the grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with office or home setups. Male USB A and USB B connectors ensure straightforward plug-and-play use with compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to computers or print servers
• Connecting flatbed or document scanners to host devices
• Linking external USB B-equipped audio interfaces, controllers or other peripherals to a PC or hub
• Replacing or extending existing USB 2.0 A‑to‑B connections in offices and home workspaces

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB B (male)
• USB version: USB 2.0 (HiSpeed)
• Maximum data rate: up to 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Product colour: Grey
• Wiring: standard 4-wire USB 2.0

How to use

Insert the USB A connector into a USB A port on the host device, such as a computer or USB hub, and connect the USB B connector to the peripheral device requiring a B-type interface, such as a printer or scanner. Ensure both devices are powered according to their manufacturer instructions before transferring data. For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable during installation.

Recommendations

Use this cable for direct device-to-host connections where USB 2.0 speeds are sufficient. For longer runs, higher bandwidth requirements, or devices that require USB 3.x features, select an appropriate cable or interface that matches those specifications. Keep connectors clean and connect/disconnect with a straight pull to avoid stressing the connector housings.
