Microconnect B-UTP5075O verkkokaapeli oranssi 7,5 m Cat5e U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP5075O RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 7.5 m U/UTP patch cable designed for connecting network devices such as switches, modems and routers to each other or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. Compliant with Cat5e (tested up to 100 MHz) and backward compatible with Cat5, this orange cable supports up to 1000 Mbit/s data rates and includes latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage during installation in tight spaces.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat5e performance for stable network connections and compatibility with existing Cat5 installations. Its U/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors provide reliable signal transmission, while the integrated latch protection helps prevent connector breakage when routing the cable through confined areas. The 7.5 m length and bright orange colour make it easy to identify and position within small office or home networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Small office and home network installations
• Entertainment systems and media devices requiring wired Ethernet

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e (tested to 100 MHz)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.012 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router or modem) and the other into a patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place using the latch protection to secure the connection. Route the cable without excessive bending and avoid sharp edges or strong pulls to maintain signal integrity and prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its specified length and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. Test connections after installation to confirm link speed and stability, and replace the cable if the connector latch shows signs of wear.
