How to use

Disconnect or power down devices if recommended by the device manufacturer. Insert the Mini DisplayPort connector into the Mini DisplayPort output of the source device (for example a MacBook), and insert the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort input of the display or beamer. Ensure connectors are fully seated; the cable will carry both video and audio where supported by the source and display. Position the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid excessive bending near the connectors, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources, and store it coiled without tight knots. Verify that both source and display support audio over DisplayPort if audio transmission is required.
