Microconnect MC-DP-MMG-1500 DisplayPort-kaapeli 15 m musta

The Microconnect MC-DP-MMG-1500 is a 15 m DisplayPort cable designed for high-quality digital video and audio transmission between devices with DisplayPort interfaces. The cable has an 8 mm diameter, a durable black jacket and includes an integrated repeater to preserve signal integrity over the extended 15-m length. It is RoHS-compliant and suitable for use in home, office or professional AV setups.

Advantages

The 15 m length with built-in repeater ensures stable high-definition video and audio transmission over long distances without significant signal degradation. The cable's 8 mm diameter and robust black sheath provide mechanical durability for frequent handling and installation. Full DisplayPort connectivity at both ends allows straightforward point-to-point connection between monitors, laptops, projectors and graphics cards.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or graphics card to a monitor located up to 15 m away
• Setting up projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Home theatre or AV installations requiring long cable runs
• Temporary or permanent office workstation layouts with distant displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Diameter: 8 mm (approx.)
• Weight: 0.65 kg
• Colour: Black
• Compliance: RoHS

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the source device (PC, laptop or graphics card) and the other end to the target display (monitor or projector). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click or feel secure. If routing the cable through walls, ceilings or cable trays, avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius consistent with an 8 mm cable to prevent damage. Power on the source and display, then select the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector if required.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical wiring and keep connector ends free of dust. When using the cable for critical AV presentations, verify the connection and display settings before the event. If the setup requires frequent plugging and unplugging, handle connectors by the molded housing to reduce strain on the cable.
