Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI-kaapeli 70 m

The MicroConnect HDMI Cable Premium Optic 70m is an active hybrid HDMI 2.0 cable combining fiber optic and copper conductors to transmit high-quality audio and video over long distances up to 70 m (model supports up to 100 m in similar configurations). It features HDMI Type A gold-plated connectors, supports HDMI 2.0 and 3D, delivers up to 4096 x 2160 resolution and a data rate of 18 Gbit/s, and includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable is lightweight, flexible and designed with an ultra-small bend radius for installation in tight routing spaces.

Advantages

The hybrid fiber-and-copper design maintains signal integrity over extended runs while keeping the cable thin and flexible. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors improve contact reliability. Support for HDMI 2.0, 3D and ARC ensures compatibility with modern AV equipment. The construction provides a small bend radius suitable for professional and residential installations where space is limited.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV connections between source devices and displays up to 70 m
• Home theatre systems with 4K / UHD displays
• Conference rooms, classrooms and digital signage installations
• Setups requiring an active cable with ARC support

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (Blu-ray player, media player, PC, or AV receiver) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices support the intended resolution and HDMI 2.0 features. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and maintain the small bend radius specified by the installer to prevent damage to the fiber core. Power to connected devices is handled by the HDMI ports; no separate power supply is required for normal operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, verify source and display settings for 4K/60Hz and HDMI 2.0 compatibility. When installing in conduits or tight channels, avoid exceeding the cable's minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain at the connector ends.
