Microconnect SSTP603P verkkokaapeli violetti 3 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SSTP603P is a 3 m Cat6 networking cable with S/FTP (shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It supports Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. The cable is purple and designed for connections between network devices, patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets in home and small office networks and entertainment setups.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, improving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. Latch protection on the RJ-45 plugs prevents damage to the connector tab during installation in tight spaces. Backwards compatibility with Cat5e/Cat5 allows use with older equipment while delivering Cat6 performance where supported.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, modems and networked devices
• Patch panel and keystone jack installations
• Home and small office LANs
• High-definition streaming and gaming setups

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 3 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Purple
• Weight: 0.08 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, modem or networked PC) and the other plug to the destination port, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For installations in confined spaces, use the built-in latch protection to avoid tab damage. Verify link speed and stability on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

Use the MicroConnect SSTP603P in environments where reduced EMI and improved signal integrity are required. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for Cat6 cables to preserve performance.
