Mikrofoni Aston Microphones Spirit 5th ANNIVERSARY

The Aston Microphones Spirit 5th ANNIVERSARY is a limited edition large-diaphragm condenser microphone engineered for professional recording of vocals and instruments. The design emphasizes clarity and low noise while offering high SPL handling and a wide frequency response to capture detailed source material. The microphone's build combines durable construction with acoustic considerations to provide consistent performance in studio and live environments.

Advantages

The Spirit 5th ANNIVERSARY delivers accurate transient response and a balanced tonal character across the audible range, enabling clear vocal reproduction and faithful instrument capture. High SPL capability allows close-miked loud sources without distortion, while robust mechanical design and quality components support long-term reliability. The microphone's tailored frequency response reduces the need for corrective equalization in many recording situations.

Suitable for

• Lead and backing vocal recording in studio sessions
• Acoustic and electric instrument capture, including guitars and pianos
• Voiceover, podcast, and broadcast applications
• Live reinforcement and stage monitoring when a condenser is appropriate

Key specifications

• Transducer type: large-diaphragm condenser
• Frequency response: wide-range design for detailed capture across lows, mids and highs
• Maximum SPL handling: high SPL capability for loud sources
• Polar pattern: cardioid (engineered for focused pickup and reduced off-axis noise)
• Noise performance: low self-noise for clean recordings
• Construction: robust housing and internal shock-mounting elements

How to use

Place the Spirit 5th ANNIVERSARY on a stable microphone stand using an appropriate mount or shock absorber; position it to suit the source—approximately 6–12 inches from vocals as a starting point and adjusted as needed for tone and proximity effect. Use a high-quality microphone preamplifier and supply phantom power as required by condenser microphones. Monitor levels to avoid clipping, and experiment with small position changes to find the best balance of clarity and presence for each source.

Recommendations

For vocals, begin with the microphone on-axis about 10 cm–30 cm from the mouth and adjust distance to manage proximity effect and sibilance. For loud instruments, increase distance or use attenuation in the preamp if necessary. Use a pop filter for close vocal work and a shock mount to minimize low-frequency handling noise. When used live, ensure adequate protection from moisture and physical impact to preserve the limited-edition finish and internal components.
