The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 55022-G is a single-piece wire connector with an XLR female connection, designed for secure microphone and audio equipment interconnections. Offered in Black, Orange and Silver finishes, this connector provides a compact and durable solution for signal transmission in live sound, studio and installation environments. The pack contains one connector and is intended for straightforward replacement or custom cable assembly where a female XLR termination is required.

Advantages

This XLR female connector is built for reliable electrical contact and mechanical stability, minimizing signal loss and intermittent connections. Its metal housing variants provide robust protection against physical wear while color options help with channel identification and cable management. The single-piece pack format simplifies procurement for technicians and hobbyists who need an individual replacement or a spare part for cable repairs.

Suitable for

• Microphone cable terminations and replacements
• Custom audio cable assembly
• Small studio and live sound setups
• Field repairs and on-site maintenance

Key specifications

• Connector type: female XLR
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Available colours: Black, Orange, Silver
• Material: metal housing (durable construction)
• Application: audio signal transmission for microphones and line-level equipment

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping insulation to expose the conductor and shield according to standard XLR wiring practices. Insert conductors into the corresponding terminals of the female XLR connector and secure them with the provided screws or solder points, depending on the connector variant. Assemble the housing around the connection and tighten any fastening hardware to ensure strain relief. Verify continuity and correct polarity before putting the cable into service.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use the connector with properly shielded microphone or audio cables and avoid excessive bending or tension at the termination point. Match the connector colour to your labelling or channel-coding system to simplify identification during setup and maintenance.
