Mittanauha ks tools 300.0040 — 10 m muovinauha, sisäänvedettävä kotelo

Measuring tape ks tools 300.0040 — 10 m plastic tape, retractable housing is a compact tape measure with a 10-meter plastic measuring tape and a retractable housing designed for straightforward linear measurement tasks. The tool combines a lightweight plastic blade with a protective casing that retracts the tape smoothly, offering a portable solution for construction, installation and general DIY work where measurements up to 10 meters are required.

Advantages

The retractable housing allows quick and controlled tape retraction to reduce wear on the blade and protect users. The plastic measuring tape is corrosion-resistant and remains flexible for repeated use, while the compact form factor makes storage and carrying convenient. Markings on the tape provide clear, incremental readings for accurate length measurement, and the casing provides a secure grip during measuring tasks.

Suitable for

• General construction and site layout work
• Interior measuring for installation of fixtures, cabinets and furniture
• DIY projects, home renovation and repairs
• Plumbing and electrical rough-in measurements
• Trade professionals who need a portable measuring tool

Key specifications

• Tape length: 10 m
• Tape material: plastic (flexible, corrosion-resistant)
• Housing type: retractable casing for easy retraction and storage
• Measurement graduations: standard metric markings for centimetres and millimetres
• Form factor: compact and lightweight for portability

How to use

Extend the tape from the housing to the required length and hold the case firmly while reading the measurement at the tape end or hook. Use the tape hook or end-stop to anchor the tape against an edge or surface for one-person measuring. Retract the tape slowly to avoid sudden snapping; controlled retraction helps maintain the tape markings and reduces the risk of damage. Store the tape in a dry place to preserve the plastic blade and housing.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the tape blade for deep scratches or cracks and avoid bending the blade sharply. For repeated outdoor use, keep the tape clean and dry after use to extend service life. Use steady, controlled retraction and avoid forcing the tape into the housing if it catches.
