Monicore-kaapeli Omnitronic 24 x 2 x 0,12, 100 m rulla

Omnitronic multicore cable 24 x 2 x 0.12 on a 100 m reel is designed for routing multiple balanced audio and signal lines in installations, live sound, broadcast and stage applications. The cable contains 24 paired conductors with a conductor diameter of 0.12 mm, assembled into a flexible multicore jacket that simplifies long cable runs and channel management. The 100 m reel provides a practical length for permanent installs or touring setups where many channels must be routed from stage to mixing area or between equipment racks.

Advantages

The flexible construction reduces stress during installation and allows neat cable management in tight spaces. Individual pairs are useful for balanced audio connections, reducing interference and crosstalk compared with unpaired runs. The reel format keeps the cable protected and ready for deployment while the overall design minimizes handling time and helps maintain consistent signal integrity across multiple channels.

How to use

Unwind the cable from the reel and route the multicore along the planned pathway, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate each pair with appropriate connectors (e.g., XLR or TRS) or patch panel contacts according to your system wiring scheme, ensuring proper pin assignment and consistent polarity across all channels. Secure the cable with suitable clamps or ties at intervals to prevent strain on terminations and to keep the installation tidy.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and heavy electrical equipment. When using long runs, check signal levels and ground connections to avoid hums or loss of clarity. Store the reel in a dry, temperate environment and avoid excessive twisting during reeling and unreeling to preserve the cable's flexibility and longevity.
