MPO-4xLC monimuoto OM4 patch-kaapeli BlueOptics HE67908QPH-KB007M 7,5 metriä

The BlueOptics MPO-4xLC Multimode OM4 Patch Cable (7.5 Meter) is a factory-terminated optical link designed for high-density network environments. Built with MPO to 4xLC terminations and OM4 multimode fiber, this cable supports high-speed short-reach transmission between switches, patch panels and active equipment in data centers and enterprise networks. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections while OM4 fiber maintains higher modal bandwidth for 10GbE, 40GbE and 100GbE short-range applications.

Advantages

The cable combines an MPO multi-fiber connector with four LC duplex connectors, reducing installation time and simplifying fiber management in high-density racks. OM4 multimode fiber offers improved bandwidth-distance performance compared with lower-grade multimode types, helping to maintain signal integrity for aggregated links. Ruggedized construction and factory-polished connectors provide consistent optical performance and lower insertion loss, enabling predictable network behavior after installation.

How to use

Install the MPO end into an MPO-style trunk or cassette designed for multi-fiber connections and plug the four LC duplex connectors into the corresponding transceiver ports or patch panel adapters. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating to avoid increased loss or damage. Route the cable following data center cable management practices to avoid tight bends and strain; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer. After installation, verify optical link performance using appropriate test equipment or by confirming network operation.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect and clean connector endfaces with approved fiber cleaning tools before each mating. Use cable managers and labeling to keep MPO and LC connections organized. For optimal performance in aggregated or high-speed links, pair OM4 multimode cabling with compatible transceivers and follow link budget guidelines for the intended data rate and distance.
