MPO-MPO monimuotokuitu OM4 patch-kaapeli 50 m BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF50M

The BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF50M is a 50-meter MPO‑to‑MPO multimode OM4 patch cable engineered for short-range, high-bandwidth fiber links. It is intended for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and high-density network installations where multiple parallel fibers are required. The cable combines OM4 graded multimode fiber with an MPO connector interface to support parallel optical transmission and dense aggregation of channels while conserving rack space.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent performance for short-reach multimode applications, offering low insertion loss and controlled modal bandwidth typical of OM4 fiber. Its factory-terminated MPO connectors allow rapid deployment in ribbon-fiber trunks and parallel transceiver systems. The 50 m length is suited to medium-span intra-building runs and enables flexible routing in racks and conduits. The outer sheath and connector strain relief are designed for repeated handling and rearrangement during installation.

How to use

Route the MPO‑MPO cable along planned cable pathways, avoiding tight bends and pinch points that could increase attenuation. Align MPO connectors with the corresponding MPO ports on transceivers or patch panels, ensuring the connector key orientation matches the port labeling. Insert the connector until the latch engages and verify that the link status LEDs on connected equipment indicate an active connection. For best performance, keep connector endfaces clean and use appropriate cleaning tools before mating.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean MPO endfaces prior to installation, secure the cable to cable management hardware to prevent strain, and maintain bend radii consistent with multimode fiber specifications. For parallel optics, match fiber polarity and MPO pinning to the transceiver requirements to ensure correct channel mapping.
