NETGEAR GS105PP hallitsematon Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) pöytä-/seinäasennus harmaa

Netgear GS105PP is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ switch with five RJ-45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps and full-duplex operation. Four of the ports provide Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af/at) with up to 30 W per port and an 83 W total power budget, making the device suitable for powering wireless access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other PoE devices. The compact grey metal housing is designed for desktop placement or wall mounting and the fanless design enables silent operation in noise-sensitive environments. The switch supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) to reduce power consumption during periods of low activity and includes a 2,000-entry MAC address table for basic switching performance.

Advantages

The GS105PP offers plug-and-play installation with no configuration required, enabling fast deployment in small office and retail environments. Non-blocking switching architecture ensures wire-speed throughput across all five Gigabit ports for reliable data transfer. Integrated PoE+ simplifies cabling by combining data and power over the same Ethernet cable, and the 83 W total power budget supports multiple devices simultaneously. The fanless design and compact form factor allow flexible placement on a desk or mounting on a wall without introducing additional noise.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring PoE for IP phones and wireless access points
• Video surveillance setups with a small number of IP cameras
• Retail or hospitality environments needing reliable wired connectivity and power for devices
• Home offices or workspaces where silent operation is important

How to use

Place the switch on a stable desktop surface or mount it on a wall using the supplied hardware. Connect powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones to the PoE-capable RJ-45 ports using standard Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables. Connect an uplink from one of the remaining Gigabit ports to your router or network distribution point. Provide 54 V DC power to the unit using the included power supply. The device is unmanaged, so it will begin forwarding traffic immediately without additional configuration.

Recommendations

To ensure stable PoE operation, plan the total power draw of connected devices so it does not exceed the 83 W budget. Use quality Ethernet cabling (Cat5e or higher) for Gigabit performance and reliable PoE delivery. For installations with multiple high-power devices, distribute connections across PoE ports to balance power consumption. Keep the unit in a ventilated area free from excessive heat despite its fanless design.
