Neutraalitiheys-(ND)-suodatinsarja DJI Mini 5 Prolle – ND8 / ND32 / ND128

The DJI Neutral density (ND) filter set for the DJI Mini 5 Pro includes ND8, ND32 and ND128 filters designed to reduce the amount of light entering the camera. These glass filters enable correct exposure in bright outdoor conditions, allow the use of slower shutter speeds to create motion blur, and help achieve smoother moving subjects and natural highlight control for aerial photography and video. The set is matched to the optics and mounting system of the DJI Mini 5 Pro to preserve image quality and color balance when shooting landscapes, cityscapes and action sequences from the air.

Advantages

Neutral density filters reduce overall light without altering color balance, enabling exposure control in high-luminance environments. The three-step set (ND8, ND32, ND128) provides flexibility for different lighting situations and flight conditions, from slightly dimming bright scenes to enabling long-exposure effects in very bright sunlight. The filters are optically coated to minimize reflections and maintain contrast, allowing consistent imaging performance and reduced risk of overexposure while keeping the drone’s auto-exposure systems functioning predictably.

Suitable for

• Daytime landscape and scenic aerial photography
• Urban and architectural video with moving traffic or pedestrians
• Action shots where controlled shutter speed produces motion blur (e.g., moving vehicles, flowing water)
• Bright-sun video production requiring lower ISO and wider apertures

Key specifications

• Filter types: ND8, ND32, ND128 (three-stop gradations of light reduction)
• Optical material: multi-coated glass designed for minimal color cast
• Compatibility: designed for mounting on DJI Mini 5 Pro camera assembly
• Effect on exposure: enables slower shutter speeds and reduced ISO under bright conditions
• Finish: anti-reflective coating to reduce flare and ghosting

How to use

Attach the appropriate ND filter to the camera of the DJI Mini 5 Pro before takeoff according to the lighting conditions. Use ND8 in moderately bright situations, ND32 for bright sunlight, and ND128 for very bright or reflective environments where significant light reduction is required. After mounting, verify the camera’s framing and exposure in the live view, and adjust shutter speed and ISO to achieve the desired motion blur or exposure target. Remove or replace filters between flights or when lighting changes to maintain correct exposure.

Recommendations

For stable results, use the lowest ISO possible and adjust shutter speed to achieve natural motion blur without introducing camera shake. Check histogram and live preview for highlight clipping and color balance; if automatic white balance shifts occur, set a custom white balance or correct colors in post. Store filters in a protective case when not in use to avoid scratches and dust.
