Neutrik PowerCon-liitin NAC3MPXXB (MPN 30208545) – lukittava verkkopistoke, uros

The Neutrik PowerCon NAC3MPXXB is a locking male power connector designed for secure AC power connections in professional audio, lighting and stage equipment. It provides a compact and robust metal and plastic construction with a twist-lock mating mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection during use. The connector is intended for installations and touring applications where a reliable, repeatable connection is required and where space and mechanical durability are important considerations.

Advantages

The connector offers a locking twist mechanism that ensures a stable electrical contact and resists vibration and pull-out forces. Its rugged housing provides mechanical protection for internal contacts and is built to withstand frequent mating cycles. The design supports easy panel mounting and secure cable retention, delivering predictable performance in professional environments.

How to use

Prepare the cable according to the manufacturer’s guidelines for conductor stripping and ferrule or crimp termination if required. Insert conductors into the designated terminals and secure them with the provided screws or clamps to ensure solid electrical contact. Route the cable through the housing and apply the strain relief to prevent mechanical stress on the terminations. To connect, align the connector with the matching female chassis connector, insert and rotate the coupling until it locks into place; verify that the latch or indexing mark indicates a secure lock. To disconnect, rotate to unlock and pull straight out.

Recommendations

Use the connector within its intended AC voltage and current ratings and perform regular inspections of contacts and housing for wear or damage. Ensure correct earthing/grounding practices and avoid excessive bending or tensile loads on the cable. For long-term installations, periodically check terminal tightness and replace connectors that show signs of corrosion or mechanical degradation.
