Nurmikon ilmastointilaite Dedra DED8705 1 kpl

The Dedra DED8705 lawn scarifier is designed to support effective lawn maintenance by removing thatch and moss that inhibit healthy grass growth. This tool combines a robust frame with an efficient scarifying mechanism to restore air and water flow to the soil surface and encourage denser, healthier turf. The unit is intended for homeowners and small-property caretakers who need a practical solution for seasonal lawn care.

Advantages

The scarifier provides consistent scarifying action to pull up dead grass, roots and surface debris without complex setup. Its construction balances durability and maneuverability for typical domestic lawns. By removing organic build-up the tool helps improve soil aeration and nutrient penetration, which supports recovery and overseeding efforts. The design aims to be straightforward to operate and to reduce time spent on manual raking.

How to use

Operate the scarifier at a moderate walking speed across the lawn, making overlapping passes to ensure even removal of thatch and moss. Adjust working depth if the model provides depth settings, starting with a shallow setting and increasing only if necessary to avoid excessive turf damage. After scarifying, collect or rake up the material pulled from the lawn and dispose of or compost it according to local guidelines. Follow the manufacturer's safety instructions for assembly, handling and storage.

Recommendations

For best results, scarify when the lawn is dry and the grass is actively growing, typically in spring or early autumn. Combine scarifying with aeration and overseeding where patches or compaction are present, and perform regular follow-up mowing and watering to support recovery.
