Objektiivi Axis 01727-001

The Lens i-CS 9–50 mm F1.5 8 MP is a varifocal, IR-corrected lens designed for motorized control and compatibility with AXIS i-CS–enabled network cameras. It supports up to 8 megapixels and a 1/2-inch image sensor format, offering a focal length range of 9 to 50 mm and a fast F1.5 aperture for improved light gathering in surveillance applications. The lens is compatible with selected cameras in the AXIS P13 and AXIS Q16 series and with specific Axis models that support the i-CS interface.

Advantages

The motorized i-CS interface provides remote zoom and focus control, removing the need for manual adjustments and enabling quick field configuration. IR correction preserves image quality across visible and near-infrared wavelengths, while the F1.5 wide aperture delivers better low-light performance. Compatibility with 8 MP sensors ensures adequate resolution for detailed monitoring.

How to use

Mount the lens on an i-CS–compatible Axis camera model following the camera manufacturer’s mechanical and electrical instructions. Use the camera’s web interface or management software to perform motorized zoom and focus adjustments and to calibrate the field of view. Verify IR and focus performance across the intended lighting range, and secure the lens mounting to prevent movement after alignment.

Recommendations

For best results, pair this lens with Axis camera models that explicitly list i-CS support, and perform focus/zoom calibration after installation. Protect the lens from direct exposure to harsh weather unless mounted within a suitable housing.
