Oikaisutyökalu Cimco 211435 400 mm alumiininen oikaisuviivain

The Cimco 211435 400 mm aluminum straight edge is a compact leveling tool designed for accurate straight-edge measurements and surface alignment. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, the straight edge offers a rigid reference for checking flatness and aligning materials over a 400 mm length. Its slim profile makes it suitable for work in tight spaces, on tiles, cabinet faces, or small construction components where a precise linear guide is required.

Advantages

The aluminum construction combines low weight with dimensional stability, reducing user fatigue while maintaining straightness during measurement. The 400 mm length provides a balance between portability and enough reach for common carpentry and tiling checks. Machined edges give a reliable contact line for scribing or comparing surfaces, and the compact form factor fits easily into tool bags or on workshop benches.

How to use

Place the straight edge along the surface or edge to be checked so the machined edge makes contact at two or more points. For flatness checks, lay the tool across the area and look for light passing beneath or use a feeler gauge to measure gaps. For alignment, position the straight edge against the reference plane and mark or scribe along the edge as needed. Use the tool as a guide for cutting or sanding by keeping it firmly pressed against the workpiece to maintain a straight line.

Recommendations

Store the straight edge on a flat surface or hang it to avoid bending. Clean contact edges after use to preserve accuracy. Avoid using the tool as a pry bar or striking it with hard objects to prevent deformation of the machined edge.
