• Tool type: manual hand pruner for branches and stems
• Design: compact and maneuverable body for confined spaces
• Cutting capability: suitable for small to medium-diameter branches (manual shear)

How to use

Hold the Bessey D15A with a firm but comfortable grip and position the blades around the branch to be cut, ensuring the sharp edge sits against the live wood for a clean cut. Apply steady pressure through the manual mechanism until the branch is severed; avoid twisting motions that can damage the blade or plant. After cutting, inspect the blade for debris and wipe it clean. Regular sharpening and occasional lubrication of the pivot will keep the shear operating smoothly.

Recommendations

Use the pruner on dry, clean branches and avoid cutting material beyond the tool’s comfortable capacity. For thicker branches, use an appropriate saw or larger pruner. Store the tool in a dry place and follow routine blade maintenance—cleaning, sharpening and light oiling—to extend service life and maintain cutting performance.
