How to use

Mount the door lock into the prepared cutout on the enclosure door following the cabinet manufacturer's recommended mounting dimensions. Secure the lock with appropriate fasteners and connect any associated striker or catch on the frame to ensure correct engagement. Verify smooth operation by opening and closing the door several times and check that the latch engages reliably. If the enclosure requires a keyed or mechanical interface, fit the matching core or actuator as specified for the cabinet system.

Recommendations

Use the Rittal AX 2435.100 in indoor environments or protected outdoor locations where the zinc housing will provide adequate corrosion protection; avoid prolonged exposure to highly aggressive chemical atmospheres or direct saltwater spray. Periodically inspect the lock for wear, lubricate moving parts with a suitable non-corrosive lubricant if necessary, and replace the unit if mechanical damage or excessive wear is observed.
