How to use

Mount the YPS20 sensor near the door or window frame within the maximum 1.5 m detection range. Route the provided 10 m cable to the appropriate controller or power source and connect according to the Yealink AP08 or Room Controller wiring instructions. After physical installation, verify IR alignment and pair the sensor with the room controller or AP08 to enable automatic detection and device configuration. Test opening and closing events to confirm correct operation and adjust position if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where the line of sight for infrared detection is unobstructed and avoid mounting behind reflective surfaces or glass that may interfere with IR sensing. Use the full 10 m cable to position the controller in a stable location and verify pairing with Yealink AP08 or Room Controller during initial setup.
