Paperileikkuri Dahle 868 46 cm 35 arkkia

The DAHLE 868 paper cutter is a precision tabletop trimmer designed for office and professional environments. It provides a cutting capacity of up to 35 sheets and a usable cutting length suitable for documents up to 46 cm wide. Built with a stable base and a safety-oriented cutting mechanism, the unit balances accuracy and durability for routine trimming tasks.

Advantages

The cutter delivers consistent straight cuts thanks to a hardened steel blade and a guided cutting bar. Its robust construction and weighted base reduce movement during use, improving safety and cutting accuracy. The device combines a compact footprint with a sufficient cutting length for A3 and other large-format papers, and it includes features intended to simplify alignment and repeated trimming tasks.

Suitable for

• Office document trimming and paper finishing
• Graphic studios and print shops for trimming proofs and layouts
• Schools and educational institutions for classroom projects
• Small businesses producing flyers, brochures and booklets

Key specifications

• Maximum cutting width: 46 cm
• Maximum sheet capacity per cut: 35 sheets (standard paper weight)
• Overall cutting length: 51.3 cm
• Device weight: 14.5 kg
• Hardened steel blade for precise straight cuts
• Stable weighted base for reduced vibration

How to use

Place the cutter on a stable, level surface. Align the stack of paper against the integrated backstop or grid lines to set the desired cut position. Lower the safety guard if present, then apply steady pressure to the cutting handle or guided bar to complete the cut in a single motion. For multi-sheet cuts, ensure the stack thickness does not exceed the specified capacity and verify alignment before cutting. Follow routine blade inspections and replace the blade when cutting quality diminishes.

Recommendations

Use the cutter on a firm surface and avoid cutting materials thicker than the stated capacity. Keep hands clear of the blade path and store the unit with the blade secured. For optimal results, make test cuts on scrap paper when changing paper types or when precise margins are required.
