Pastaleikkuri Marcato PW-ARG, hopea, kätevä leikkuri tuoreelle pastalle

The Marcato PW-ARG pasta wheel in silver colour is a compact handheld cutter designed for cutting and shaping fresh pasta and pastry. The tool features a sharp fluted wheel that creates uniform strips and decorative edges, allowing consistent portioning and a neat presentation for pasta types such as tagliatelle and fettuccine, as well as for ravioli seals and pastry borders. Its lightweight construction and simple form factor make it suitable for home kitchens where quick, repeatable cutting is required.

Advantages

The Marcato PW-ARG provides precise, even cuts thanks to its fluted stainless-steel wheel, ensuring consistent width and a decorative edge without crushing the dough. Its handheld design offers good maneuverability for both straight and curved cuts, and the compact size simplifies storage. The silver finish is durable and easy to clean after use, while the sharp wheel reduces the need for repeated passes, increasing efficiency during preparation.

Suitable for

• Cutting fresh sheet pasta into tagliatelle, fettuccine and similar ribbon pasta
• Trimming and sealing homemade ravioli and tortellini
• Creating decorative pastry edges for pies, tarts and galettes
• Portioning dough strips for layered pasta preparations

Key specifications

• Handheld cutter with fluted cutting wheel for decorative edges
• Compact, lightweight construction for ease of handling
• Sharp, stainless-steel wheel for clean, consistent cuts
• Silver-coloured finish, simple to wipe clean
• Suitable for use on fresh pasta sheets and pastry dough

How to use

Roll out fresh pasta or pastry dough to the desired thickness and lay the sheet on a lightly floured surface. Hold the Marcato PW-ARG firmly by the handle and position the fluted wheel at the starting edge of the dough. Apply gentle, even pressure while rolling the wheel across the sheet to create uniform strips or a decorative border. For ravioli or sealed edges, press the wheel along the overlap to form a consistent seal. Clean the wheel after use to prevent dough residue from hardening.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cutter on dough at the recommended thickness for the intended pasta type; slightly drier dough holds fluted edges better. Lightly flour the surface and the wheel to avoid sticking, and wash and dry the tool thoroughly after each use to maintain blade sharpness and hygiene.
