Patch-kaapeli Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 vihreä 3m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in green, 3 meters long, is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable network connections in residential and commercial environments. Constructed with F/UTP (FTP) shielding, the cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable data transmission for wired network segments. The green jacket offers visual identification for cable management and organized installations.

Advantages

The HP-FTP construction reduces near-end and far-end crosstalk and helps maintain signal integrity over the cable length, making it suitable for demanding network runs. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and data rates than earlier categories, while the 3 m length balances flexibility and reduced cable clutter. A durable outer jacket and robust connector strain relief contribute to longer service life under normal use conditions.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance
• Shielding: F/UTP (FTP) — foil shield around all pairs
• Length: 3 m
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper
• Connector: RJ45 terminated at both ends
• Outer jacket color: green
• Use environment: suitable for indoor structured cabling

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device and the other to the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated in the ports until a click is felt to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling force and sources of physical damage; maintain bend radius consistent with cable category recommendations. For shielded installations, ensure proper grounding at connection points to realize the shielding benefits.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 HP-FTP patch cable for short to medium run connections within racks, workstations and network panels. Match shielding type with other components in the network (shielded jacks and patch panels) when operating in environments with potential electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance.
