Patch-kaapeli ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 – malli 08-35082, Ethernet-kaapeli suurnopeusverkkoihin

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable (model 08-35082) is an Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It meets Category 7 performance expectations and features an unshielded U/UTP topology with standard RJ45 connectors, enabling reliable connection between network devices. The cable is intended for LAN environments, data centers and structured cabling where Cat 7 compatibility and high data throughput are required.

Advantages

The cable provides Category 7 performance in an unshielded U/UTP design, offering a balance between high-frequency transmission capability and straightforward installation. Standard RJ45 terminations permit compatibility with a wide range of switches, routers and network interfaces without special adapters. Its construction supports typical structured cabling practices and facilitates quick patching and reconfiguration in rack and workstation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers in LAN and server rooms
• Linking servers, workstations and network appliances
• Patch panels and rack-mounted equipment in data centers
• Structured cabling installations requiring Cat 7 performance

Key specifications

• Category: 7 (Cat 7) performance level
• Cable topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Intended use: Ethernet patching for high-speed networks

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the patch cable to the Ethernet port of a switch, router, server or workstation and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device or patch panel. Ensure both devices support the required network speed and duplex settings. Route the cable following standard cabling practice to avoid tight bends and interference from power cables. For best results, label cable ends or use color-coding in patch panels to maintain organized connections.

Recommendations

Use the cable within structured cabling systems designed for Cat 7 performance; verify connector compatibility and port speed on connected devices. Avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and proximity to strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal integrity.
