Patchkaapeli Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 sininen 1 m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in blue, length 1 m, is designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office networks. Built to Cat6 standard with F/UTP (foil screened, unshielded twisted pair) construction, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduces external electromagnetic interference. The compact 1 m length helps maintain tidy cabling in patch panels, desktop setups, and network equipment racks while the blue jacket provides clear visual identification of network segments.

Advantages

This Cat6 HP-FTP cable combines the transmission capacity of Category 6 wiring with foil shielding to improve immunity to crosstalk and external noise. The 1 m length is convenient for short connections between switches, patch panels, and devices without excess slack. The blue PVC jacket is durable and offers straightforward color-coding for structured cabling. Designed and manufactured by a recognized cable brand, the cable meets common performance requirements for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and wiring closets
• Desktop and workstation connections where short, neat links are needed
• Small office and home network setups requiring Cat6 performance
• Environments where foil screening helps reduce electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil screened, twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Blue
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Typical use: Ethernet, Gigabit network connections

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the patch panel, modem, or another device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from power cables or heavy sources of electromagnetic interference. Use cable management accessories to maintain neat runs when connecting multiple cables in a rack or patch panel.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use this Cat6 HP-FTP cable for short links up to 1 m between networking equipment. When installing in areas with potential interference, ensure proper grounding of patch panels and consider using shielded connectors and accessories where applicable.
