Patchkaapeli ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 valkoinen 10 m

Patch Cord ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 White 10 m is a prepared Cat.6 network patch cable with a length of 10 m, designed for reliable connections between Ethernet devices. The cable uses S/FTP (screened foil with overall braid) shielding and four twisted pairs of stranded copper to reduce interference. Both ends are fitted with screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for improved durability and flexible handling.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding (pair individually foil shielded plus overall braid) provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer and resistance to corrosion. Moulded kink protection and a flexible jacket support tight bends and frequent handling without damage. The contact assignment follows the EIA/TIA 568 standard (1:1) for straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in structured cabling
• Office and data centre network links requiring Cat.6 performance
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (PiMF), 4-pair stranded copper
• Category: Cat.6
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — screened, gold-plated contacts
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring secure seating in the jacks. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive mechanical strain; the moulded kink protection helps prevent damage near the connectors. For optimal performance keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and maintain proper bend radii during installation.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord for short to medium-length connections within racks, between patch panels and network devices. For permanent in-wall installations consider using cables specifically rated for in-wall or plenum use.
