Piirustussetti Staedtler 61 SBK 12 kpl

The Staedtler 61 SBK 12 pcs drawing set contains twelve pastel pencils in a curated range of grey, mint, orange, pink and rose tones. Designed for artists, illustrators and students, the set combines smooth pigmentation with a compact, portable format that is easy to carry in a pencil case or sketchbook. The pencils are suitable for layering, blending and adding subtle accents or broad color fields in sketches, studies and finished drawings.

Advantages

The pencils deliver consistent, even color laydown with good blendability across dry paper surfaces. Their cores allow for both precise lines and softer shading by varying pressure or using a blunt edge. The slim metal-free barrels are lightweight and simple to sharpen with standard pencil sharpeners. The set’s selection of muted and pastel tones complements graphite and ink work, providing controlled color without overpowering underlying details.

Suitable for

• Sketching and studies
• Portrait accents and subtle colorization
• Mixed-media drawings with graphite or ink
• Art classes and student practice
• Urban sketching and on-the-go color work

How to use

Select pencils according to the tonal range you need and sharpen to a desired point for fine lines or keep a blunter tip for shading and blending. Apply with light pressure for delicate hues and increase pressure for more saturated color. Layer colors gradually to achieve depth and smooth transitions; use a tortillon, paper stump or soft tissue to blend tones where needed. For mixed-media work, lay down pencil colour after dry graphite or ink to avoid smearing.

Recommendations

Store the set in a cool, dry place and protect pencil points with a case or cap to prevent breakage. Use a standard handheld sharpener designed for coloured pencils to maintain a controlled tip. For archival results, fix finished work with a light spray fixative formulated for pastel and coloured pencil artwork.
