Pistoliitinkotelo Harting HAN 3A naarasliitin kotelo M20-kaapelilähdöllä

Harting HAN 3A Socket Housing with M20 Cable Outlet is a compact connector enclosure designed to accept HAN 3A inserts and provide a standardized M20 cable gland interface. The housing secures electrical contacts inside a protective shell, offers mechanical strain relief at the cable entry, and is intended for panel- or machine-mounted connections in industrial environments where a small-format, robust connector solution is required.

Advantages

The socket housing provides a reliable mechanical enclosure that protects contacts from accidental damage and helps maintain connection integrity in vibration-prone environments. Its M20 cable outlet enables easy installation of standard cable glands for effective strain relief and ingress protection. The compact form factor supports space-constrained assemblies while remaining compatible with HAN 3A inserts, facilitating straightforward integration into existing connector systems.

Suitable for

• Panel-mounted power and signal connections in machinery
• Cable routing and strain relief in industrial control cabinets
• Compact connection points on automation equipment and instruments
• Applications requiring a standardized M20 cable gland interface

Key specifications

• Connector family compatibility: HAN 3A inserts
• Cable outlet size: M20 gland interface
• Mounting style: panel or machine mount
• Enclosure function: protective housing for socket contacts and strain relief
• Form factor: compact, suitable for space-limited installations

How to use

Install the housing on the panel or machine mounting surface using the appropriate cut-out and fastening method. Insert the compatible HAN 3A insert into the housing and secure it according to the insert's mounting instructions. Fit an M20 cable gland into the cable outlet and route the cable through the gland; tighten the gland to provide strain relief and, where applicable, ingress protection. Connect wires to the insert contacts following electrical wiring standards and verify the mechanical and electrical integrity before energizing the system.

Recommendations

Use compatible HAN 3A inserts and M20 cable glands rated for the operating environment. Ensure correct torque on cable gland fittings and secure mounting to prevent loosening under vibration. Follow applicable electrical codes and manufacturer instructions for contact assembly, cable selection, and sealing to maintain reliable and safe connections.
