How to use

Install the half-size aluminium plate into the prepared opening and secure it with appropriate screws. Solder the audio cable conductors to the designated soldering terminals following standard wiring conventions for stereo jacks (tip, ring, sleeve). After soldering, verify connections with a continuity tester and mount the plate flush with the panel surface. Ensure the minimum depth of 37 mm is available behind the mounting surface to accommodate the connector body.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use quality shielded audio cables and perform solder joints with proper flux and temperature control. Avoid mechanical strain on the soldered connections by securing cables or using strain relief. Match the socket to standard 6.35 mm plugs and check polarity before final assembly.
