Poranteräsarja Bosch HSS Twist Drill Bits Cobalt, malli 2608585889

Bosch HSS Twist Drill Bits Cobalt deliver durable drilling performance in stainless and alloyed steels. Made from fully ground high-speed steel with 5% cobalt, these drill bits offer improved wear resistance, heat protection and consistent surface quality. They feature two cutters and two flutes for rapid chip evacuation, a cylindrical shank matching the drill diameter for use in drill stands and hand-held drill drivers, and are manufactured to DIN 338 as Type N with a 135° split-point tip and h8 diameter tolerance for accurate centring.

Advantages

The 5% cobalt alloy and fully ground HSS construction extend tool life and enhance resistance to abrasion and thermal stress. The two-cutter geometry with two flutes ensures efficient chip removal and stable cutting action. The split-point 135° tip provides immediate engagement and reduces wandering for precise starts. Compliance with DIN 338 and h8 tolerance ensures dimensional accuracy and interchangeability.

How to use

Secure the correct drill bit diameter in the chuck so the cylindrical shank is held firmly. Select an appropriate rotational speed and feed for the material—use lower speeds for stainless and heat-resistant steels to limit heat buildup. Apply steady pressure and let the bit cut without forcing. Use coolant or cutting oil when drilling stainless or alloyed steels to improve surface finish and extend bit life. Clear chips frequently to avoid clogging and overheating.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling stainless or heat-resistant steels, use cutting fluid, moderate speeds, and intermittent pecking to reduce heat and break chips; inspect bit condition regularly and replace when worn to maintain accuracy.
