ShiverPeaks telephone cable with an S/CONN TAE-F plug on one end and a Western 6/4 connector on the other provides a universal connection solution for telephones, modems and other analog communication devices. The cable is white and 6 m long, manufactured with standard 6-conductor/4-core wiring to support voice and low-speed data signals in typical residential and office installations. Its universal plug combination enables direct connection between TAE and Western-type wall sockets without the need for adapters.

Advantages

The cable delivers a simple, compatible connection between TAE-F and Western 6/4 sockets in mixed-equipment environments. Standard 6/4 wiring ensures correct pairing for voice lines and common analog devices. The 6 m length offers flexibility in device placement while maintaining a neat appearance with a neutral white jacket. The construction is intended for indoor use and straightforward installation in typical home and office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to wall sockets with TAE or Western jacks
• Linking analog modems or fax machines to telephone outlets
• Temporary connections in home offices and small business environments
• Replacing or extending existing telephone wiring where a 6 m cable is sufficient

Key specifications

• Connector type: TAE-F (S/CONN) to Western 6/4
• Wiring: 6-conductor / 4-core standard telephone wiring
• Length: 6 meters
• Color: white
• Usage: indoor telephone and analog device connections

How to use

Insert the TAE-F plug into the corresponding TAE wall socket and the Western 6/4 connector into the telephone or device jack. Ensure plugs are fully seated to achieve a reliable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; secure it with cable clips or ties if needed to prevent strain on connectors. For installations involving splitters or multi-line setups, verify correct wiring assignment before connecting multiple devices.
