Puhelinkaapeli ShiverPeaks 70000-15 — TAE-F-liitin Western-liittimeen, 15 m

ShiverPeaks 70000-15 is a 15-metre telephone cable with a TAE F (female) connector on one end and a Western (RJ11) plug on the other. It is designed for connecting standard telephones, modems or fax machines to wall sockets or intermediate adapters where a TAE-to-RJ11 connection is required. The cable supports analogue voice and basic PSTN data signaling and is suitable for installations that need a longer reach between the device and the wall outlet.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward wired connection between TAE wall outlets and devices with an RJ11 interface, offering reliable signal transmission for voice calls and simple data lines. With a 15 m length it enables flexible device placement without the need for additional adapters or extenders. The combination of a TAE F connector and Western plug makes it compatible with common German TAE sockets and international RJ11-equipped telecommunication devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting analogue telephones to TAE wall sockets
• Linking modems or fax machines to PSTN lines via TAE-to-RJ11 wiring
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations requiring a 15 m cable run
• Use with adapters or splitters that accept TAE F or RJ11 connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 metres
• Connector A: TAE F (female)
• Connector B: Western / RJ11 plug (6P2 wiring typical)
• Signal type: Analogue voice and basic PSTN data
• Typical wiring: Two-wire (voice line) configuration

How to use

Insert the TAE F connector into the corresponding female TAE wall socket or adapter until it seats firmly. Plug the RJ11 (Western) end into the telephone, modem or fax device’s line input. Ensure both ends are fully connected and test the line for dial tone or data link. For best results route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching or exposure to high electromagnetic interference sources. If using with a splitter or NTBA, follow the device manufacturer’s connection instructions.

Recommendations

For stable voice quality and reliable PSTN data transfer, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or close to strong radio transmitters. When installing permanently, secure the cable along skirting or cable channels and check connections periodically for corrosion or loose contacts.
