Puhelinkaapeli ShiverPeaks 71216-B (Twist-Stop, ohut)

Telephone cable ShiverPeaks 71216-B (twist stop, narrow) is a slim-profile communication cable intended for indoor telephony installations. It is designed to connect traditional telephone handsets and base units where a narrow diameter and reduced twisting of conductors help preserve voice signal stability and keep cable runs compact. The cable is finished in a blue-transparent jacket and provides straightforward wiring for voice-only applications.

Advantages

The narrow construction minimizes space usage in cable ducts and behind furniture while the twist stop design reduces conductor twisting that can affect call clarity. The blue-transparent outer jacket allows visual inspection of the cable while maintaining a neat appearance. The cable is suitable for typical home and office voice installations and offers a simple, reliable physical solution for analogue telephone connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting traditional corded telephone handsets to wall sockets or base units
• Indoor routing where a slim cable profile is required
• Environments that benefit from reduced conductor twisting to maintain voice signal stability
• Neat installations behind desks, in small conduit, or along skirting boards

Key specifications

• Cable type: narrow-profile telephone communication cable
• Feature: twist stop design to limit conductor twisting
• Application: indoor voice/telephone connections
• Outer jacket: blue-transparent finish

How to use

Route the cable from the telephone handset to the wall socket or base unit, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Terminate the cable using compatible telephone plugs or connectors following standard wiring color codes and polarity for analogue telephone lines. Keep the cable away from high-voltage mains and sources of electrical interference to maintain call quality. If trimming or retermination is required, use appropriate cable cutters and strain relief to protect the twist stop design.

Recommendations

For best results, install the cable indoors in dry conditions and avoid running it parallel to power cables. Use gentle bends (large radius) when routing around corners and secure runs with non-constricting clips to preserve the narrow jacket and twist stop performance.
