Puhelinkaapeli ShiverPeaks BS70105-20 20 m musta

The ShiverPeaks BS70105-20 20m Black telephone cable connects legacy TAE-equipped wall sockets to devices with an RJ-11 input. With a 20-metre length and black jacket, this cable provides the physical reach and discreet appearance required for telephone installations in homes, offices and small commercial spaces. It is designed for basic analogue telephony and supports standard voice connections where a TAE (F) to RJ-11 lead is required.

Advantages

This cable offers extended reach with a 20 m length, enabling flexible device placement without the need for additional adapters. The contrasting connector types on each end — a TAE (F) plug and an RJ-11 plug — ensure compatibility between German-style wall sockets and common telephone handsets or modems. The black outer sheath provides a neutral appearance and helps conceal the cable along skirting boards or behind furniture. The construction focuses on reliable, low-loss voice signal transfer for standard analogue telephony.

Suitable for

• Connecting analogue telephones to TAE sockets in residential settings
• Linking fax machines or simple modems to wall outlets
• Temporary or permanent telephone wiring where a longer reach is needed
• Office desks and workstations requiring a tidy, discreet cable run

Key specifications

• Length: 20 metres
• Color: Black
• Connector A: TAE (female style plug for TAE sockets)
• Connector B: RJ-11 (4P4C compatible for telephone devices)
• Intended signal type: Analogue voice/telephone
• Cable type: Single-pair telephone lead with outer jacket

How to use

Route the cable from the wall TAE socket to your telephone or device, avoiding sharp bends and areas with heavy foot traffic. Insert the TAE plug securely into the TAE wall outlet and connect the RJ-11 plug to the telephone base, fax machine or modem. Verify the connection by checking for dial tone or running a call test. If the cable will be exposed, use cable clips or trunking to secure it neatly along skirting boards or under desks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as power transformers and large motors. Do not pull the cable forcefully when installing; instead, feed it gently to avoid stress on connectors. If using with data devices, ensure the device supports analogue PSTN connections compatible with an RJ-11 interface.
