Puhelinkaapeli ShiverPeaks BS70166 6 m musta

The ShiverPeaks BS70166 telephone cable is a 6-meter connection lead designed to link telephone devices and wall sockets reliably. One end uses a TAE N connector compatible with many telecommunications wall outlets, while the other end has an RJ12 plug for connecting handsets, telephones or base stations. The black jacket and flexible construction are intended to fit domestic and office environments where an extended reach and tidy appearance are required.

Advantages

This 6 m ShiverPeaks cable provides stable signal transmission and reduces the risk of intermittent audio or line noise when used with compatible equipment. The combination of a TAE N connector and an RJ12 plug offers broad compatibility with legacy telephone sockets and modern telephone devices. Durable outer insulation and secure connector housings improve resistance to everyday wear and frequent plugging and unplugging, while the black finish supports discreet installation along walls or furniture.

Suitable for

• Extending the distance between a wall telephone socket and a desk telephone or handset
• Connecting cordless base stations or answering machines to a fixed line
• Replacing older or damaged telephone leads with a compatible TAE N to RJ12 cable

Key specifications

• Cable length: 6 metres
• Connector A: TAE N
• Connector B: RJ12
• Colour: Black
• Application: Fixed-line telephone connections

How to use

Insert the TAE N connector into the corresponding wall socket until it is securely seated. Plug the RJ12 connector into the telephone handset, base station or device port. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or pinching, and secure excess length with cable ties or clips if necessary. Test the connection by placing a call or checking line tone to confirm clear audio transmission.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as transformers, power adaptors and unshielded high-voltage wiring. When installing in high-traffic areas, use cable clips to prevent accidental tripping and to reduce strain on the connectors. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of corrosion or if audio quality degrades.
