Pulttisakset Fiskars PowerGear 36 cm malli 1027213 ergonomisilla kahvoilla

Bolt cutter Fiskars PowerGear 36 cm model 1027213 with ergonomic handles is a compact manual cutting tool designed for targeted metal cutting tasks. With a 36 cm overall length and the PowerGear mechanism, it multiplies cutting force to reduce user effort while keeping precise control. The cutter features ergonomic handles that improve grip comfort and reduce hand fatigue during repetitive use. It is intended for household and workshop applications requiring reliable and controlled cutting of nails, bolts, wire and small metal rods.

Advantages

The PowerGear system increases mechanical advantage for cleaner cuts with less applied hand force. Short overall length provides good accessibility in confined spaces while still delivering sufficient leverage. Ergonomic handles ensure a secure, comfortable grip and help maintain cutting accuracy. Hardened cutting jaws are designed to withstand repeated use and provide consistent cutting performance on common fastening materials.

Suitable for

• Cutting nails and screws protruding from wood or construction debris
• Trimming bolts, small metal rods and tie wire in workshop or DIY projects
• Cutting steel and galvanized wire used in fencing or packaging
• Tasks that require a compact cutter for use in tight spaces

Key specifications

• Overall length: 36 cm
• Cutting mechanism: PowerGear leverage system for increased cutting force
• Handle type: Ergonomic, non-slip handles for improved grip
• Cutting material: Hardened steel jaws suitable for common nails, bolts, wire and small rods
• Intended use: Manual bolt cutting for household and workshop tasks

How to use

Position the cutting jaws around the material to be cut, ensuring the workpiece sits securely between the blades. Grip the ergonomic handles and apply steady pressure; the PowerGear mechanism will amplify your input force to complete the cut. For thicker or hardened materials, make several controlled attempts rather than forcing a single rapid closure. After use, wipe the cutting edges clean and store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when cutting metal. Inspect the cutting edges periodically for wear or nicks; sharpen or replace the tool if cutting performance degrades. Avoid cutting materials exceeding the tool's intended capacity and do not use the cutter on live electrical conductors.
