RCA (cinch) -plugi ShiverPeaks 51400-SG — musta kotelo, kullatut kontaktit

ShiverPeaks S/CONN maximum connectivity RCA (Cinch) Plug 51400-SG features a black housing with gold-plated contacts, designed for terminating analog audio and A/V cables. The plug provides corrosion-resistant contact surfaces and a standard RCA form factor for compatibility with typical RCA sockets used in home and professional audio systems. It is intended for repairing, replacing or assembling cable ends where reliable analog connections are required.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and maintain low electrical resistance over time, while the black housing offers a durable, impact-resistant shell that eases handling during installation. The connector’s construction focuses on stable signal transmission and straightforward mechanical fit to standard RCA sockets, enabling consistent audio performance and long-term contact reliability without requiring special tools.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged RCA audio cables on home stereo or A/V equipment
• Assembling custom analog audio leads for receivers, amplifiers and CD players
• Replacing worn or corroded RCA terminations in professional audio setups
• DIY audio projects where standard RCA connectivity is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (Cinch) male plug with standard cylindrical tip
• Housing color and material: black, impact-resistant housing
• Contact plating: gold-plated contact surfaces for corrosion resistance
• Compatibility: fits standard RCA female sockets used in audio and A/V equipment
• Intended use: analog audio signal termination and cable assembly

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and insulation to expose the center conductor and shield according to the plug’s assembly dimensions. Insert and secure the conductor and shield to the plug’s contact points following the manufacturer’s assembly method — typically soldering or mechanical clamping — then close the housing to ensure a firm mechanical connection. Verify seating in the RCA socket and test the audio path for continuity and correct channel operation before finalizing installation.

Recommendations

Where possible, use proper cable preparation tools and, if the plug design requires soldering, a soldering iron with appropriate temperature control. Avoid excessive mechanical strain on the cable near the termination and periodically inspect connections for corrosion or looseness to maintain optimal audio quality.
