Reititin D-Link 4G LTE AX1500 dual-band Wi-Fi 6

The D-Link G416C (G416C/E) is a tabletop dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 router with integrated 4G LTE Cat 6 connectivity and Gigabit Ethernet. It supports up to 1500 Mbit/s combined Wi‑Fi throughput and can provide immediate Internet access via a SIM card or through a wired WAN connection. The router includes four Ethernet LAN ports, external 5 dBi antennas, MU‑MIMO support and modern Wi‑Fi security to protect devices and data.

Advantages

The router combines Wi‑Fi 6 performance with 4G LTE Cat 6 mobility and WAN failover, allowing continuous connectivity in homes, small offices, pop‑up stores, or remote sites. Carrier Aggregation (2CA) in Cat 6 delivers higher LTE download speeds (up to ~300 Mbps) compared with older categories. Dual‑band Wi‑Fi and MU‑MIMO enable simultaneous device connections, while Gigabit Ethernet ports provide reliable wired links. Built‑in WPA3 and standard Wi‑Fi security measures help safeguard network privacy.

Suitable for

• Homes and apartments with multiple wireless devices
• Small offices and remote work locations
• Temporary sites, pop‑up stores and events
• Situations needing automatic WAN failover or mobile backup Internet

How to use

Insert an activated SIM card into the SIM slot to enable 4G LTE Internet immediately, or connect a fixed‑line modem to the Ethernet WAN port for broadband access. Configure wireless SSIDs, password and security settings via the web‑based management interface. Place the router centrally for best Wi‑Fi coverage and connect wired devices to the LAN ports when stable, low‑latency connections are required.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use a high‑quality SIM data plan with adequate speeds and enable WAN failover so the router automatically switches between mobile and wired connections. Position the router away from large metal objects and sources of interference, and keep firmware updated via the web interface to maintain security and compatibility.
