Reititin Xiaomi AC1200 dualband 2,4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5

The Xiaomi AC1200 Dual-Core Full Gigabit Router provides dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with combined wireless speeds up to 1167 Mbps, three Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 2 LAN) and a dual‑core CPU with up to 880 MHz single‑core clock. With 128 MB RAM, four external high‑gain antennas and integrated PA/LNA amplifiers, the router is designed to deliver stable connections for multiple devices and support IPv6 and Xiaomi smart home integration.

Advantages

The router uses a dual‑core quad‑threaded processor and gigabit ports to support high‑speed broadband over 100 Mbps and reduce bottlenecks for wired and wireless traffic. Dual‑band integration combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under a single SSID so devices automatically select the optimal band. Four external omni‑directional antennas plus embedded power and low‑noise amplifiers improve range and wall penetration. Built‑in features include LDPC error correction on 5 GHz, IPv6 support, device management, IPTV compatibility and a companion Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app for remote control and bandwidth management. The casing and packaging are made from recyclable materials.

Suitable for

• Home broadband connections above 100 Mbps
• Multiple smart home devices and IoT ecosystems (Mi Home/Xiaomi Home)
• Streaming HD video and online gaming on Wi‑Fi
• Small apartments or multi‑room homes requiring improved wall penetration
• Users who need remote management and parental controls

How to use

Connect your broadband modem to the WAN gigabit port and plug in power. Use the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app or the router’s web interface to complete initial setup: select Internet type, enter ISP credentials if required and configure Wi‑Fi SSID and password. Enable dual‑band integration to present a single SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Configure device management, parental controls and bandwidth allocation through the app or web UI as needed.

Recommendations

Place the router in a central, elevated location to maximise coverage. For best performance, keep the 5 GHz band for bandwidth‑sensitive tasks (HD streaming, gaming) and allow the router to manage band selection automatically. Regularly check the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app for firmware updates and use built‑in speed limiting and access schedules to manage multiple devices.
